Washing machines and supermarkets

My new room comes with a combination washing machine tumble dryer in the kitchen. This was an exciting discovery. Until I used it.

I put my washing in this morning. The wash cycle finished and I put it on to dry. The conveniently wall mounted operating instructions suggested it would take 130 minutes for drying. The conveniently wall mounted operating instructions lied. I went to Sainsbury's and came back. Washing still wet. I had my lunch. Washing still wet. I did a shift in A&E and came back. Washing still wet, but now gently warmed through. I went to Tesco. I had my dinner. I washed up. I watched some TV. After 13 HOURS I finally took my still wet washing out of the dryer. I need to find an airer to hang it on. Perhaps Scunthorpe can oblige me with another supermarket from which to provide one.
