Descartes' Dualism
This term has begun with an introduction to Philosophy of the Mind and Body.
Having a fairly large amount of reading to do for this, I settled down this evening with the relevant papers and, just to help things along, a bottle of single malt. And, whilst this was a terribly enjoyable experience, it has rather meant that I can't remember much of what I spent the evening reading.
I think there was a chap called Descartes and I think he believed the body is separate from the mind. This last, at least, I can confirm.

Welcome back - while Luton is a duller place following you departure, cyberspace is infinitely brighter for your return!
