Hola. Me llamo Michael
We had placement today. This is now a whole day each week. Today we went to a GP's in a certain market town a few miles from Hull. My housemate was at the surgery last year and when I told him where I was going he commented that they had knocked it down over the summer. So, full of curiosity, we drove there this morning. It had indeed been demolished. But here at HYMS we are used to things not being built yet, so we parked in a flowerbed and ventured into the temporary huts clustered on the building site. Was a good day on the whole. Much tea and coffee was provided (always the sign of a good practice) and much rain was accumulated in the hair and clothing during our lunchtime walk into town for food. Patients had to be shouted at to ensure they heard us over the diggers. Probably not something to get into the habit of, but none-the-less satisfying as a one off*.
I'll tell you about the hospital placement sometime.
And yes, I am learning Spanish.
*(Please note, this is a joke. We do care really.)
