Lectures and housemates
Our first lecture of the year was a queasy ride through various pathological scenarios, complete with full colour photographs of offending bodily organs. I think I need to rediscover my hospital-stomach (this is like sea-legs, but for medics).
We also met our new PBL group (this is like a tutor group, but for cutting edge medical schools). I am hoping this will be a good year. I think they are going to work us hard.
Yesterday, my German housemate called to me from the top of the stairs:
"Michael, what is hash?"
"It's cannabis."
"Oh!"
"Why?"
"Because I am trying to top up my phone and she is telling me to press hash."
