Routine
After the excitement of buying steths and white coats, the more mundane aspects of life are taking over. For example, I seemed to escaped the drudgery of ironing for the first 25 years of my life, and am paying for my lack of practise now by being quite bad at it. Yesterday it took me over an hour and a half to iron 5 t-shirts and a handkerchief. To me this seems excessive.

Wow, probably is a bit excessive but you'll get better with practice. Seems like there's a lot to learn. I hope they fix the video link up soon.
Mmmmm... you see if you had a piano in your house then you wouldn't have to iron.. really.. you could crush things with your piano...
hee hee hee
Michael, you need to find a girl that does an ARTS course and make friends with her. Lets face it it's not like she'll have any lectures to go to or anything. Rob never ironed a t-shirt or a white coat his whole uni life.
"you could crush things with your piano" - Jude, you're a genius!! I knew there was a reason the thing's so darn heavy.
I've had to teach people how to iron. Really, though, you don't have to do most stuff. Just hang it up straight away, and it's perfectly wearable! Or blow-noseable...
you could follow another doctor friend of ours who now has an "ironing lady"....
He has an ironing lady? :-D
Do I need to advertise?!
An ironing lady??
I'm supposedly appalled...actually a little admiring... !
