Getting close to nature

Today, the early morning commuters of Yorkshire were treated to the sight of me striding gracefully through the streets of Hull. An enthusiastic run at 7am turned into a slightly wheezing walk through the park at 7:15, before developing into an exhausted sit-down on a manhole cover at 7:20 and a very slow walk home at 7:30.

When my housemates suggested it last night it seemed like a really good idea, but I haven't been that physically wiped-out since cross-country in Year 8. Very good for you though. I think I've doubled my lung capacity already.

All this exertion has been very necessary for the stress levels. We sat an online exam over the weekend. It went ok and I passed. Quite a strange idea though. And it's our mock clinical examination exams on Wednesday. Time to resurrect Nelly the Elephant. I only hope I don't have to do the cardiovascular examination on that body-builder guy. Really, counting ribs isn't that easy when you you're doing it through two inches of pectoralis major.

Running? At 7 am? I can't imagine how that could ever sound good!

So did you kill the fly by swallowing it during your unnatural exertions, or was that a completely separate incident, involving cold-blooded swatting? There's a moral difference between manslaughter and murder you know...
