Alimentary, my dear friends
Last week we had a reading week. It involved 5 days of something resembling revision, followed by something resembling an exam (which we marked ourselves), followed by a day of something resembling a rest. We've been back at the work thing for almost a week now and I'm feeling like nothing resembling energetic. Postmen keep getting me out of bed to fill my shelves with more and increasingly large text books I can't afford. And we've just started a four week block on the gastrointestinal tract. This week we learnt how to eat, but I fear it will be another three weeks before we learn how to defecate.
No fancy ECGs to show you this week, although we now have a blood pressure cuff in the house. Hours of fun to be had with that, cutting off each other's circulation.
I've been looking at embryology recently and I wrote a whole (long) post about evolution and Genesis 1 and 2. I haven't posted it, but may do.

Any chance you could devise a fast-track version of this particular teaching block? It could be known as the 'Doctor's Initial Accelerated Rapid Rate Hours Of Education Allotment'.
Now if only I could think of some kind of abbreviation that would both make it relevent to the subject and allow it to be easily recalled...... :0) Sorry, couldn't resist. hope you're well.
Yeah post the evolution thing. I wanna read.
Yeah, do... It sounds very interesting.
So is all the IBD stuff out the way?
Not quite, Chris. I had my last meeting with my tutor toady about my IBD project. It's due in on 2nd Dec. Strangely, it's only a 1,000 word essay but has caused much stress. But it is very interesting what causes it.
DIARRHOEA....fast track....alimentary canal...get it? Oh all right then, I'm sorry!
Yup, I got it! Toilet humour, eh? Good to see you running with it.
